Elizabeth Brauss has trained and competed in dance for nearly 20 years. During these years, she was guided by many dance professionals including John and Tammy Rokita, Theodora Sonnenberg, and Janet Strzelec. Throughout her dancing career, Elizabeth has earned many awards and scholarships for dance and choreography including the Sophia Grace Memorial Scholarship. She was a member of the nationally ranked Francis Howell Central Sensations Varsity Dance Team for four years, and captain her senior year.
In addition during her senior year, Elizabeth was asked to join a professional dance company, The Collaboration, led by John Rokita. She then went on to attend Lindenwood University, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and French.
While at Lindenwood, Elizabeth was a member of the national champion Lion Line Dance Team as well as the University’s Dance Ensemble. She also performed and choreographed for various dance concerts. Currently, Elizabeth is the Assistant Varsity Dance Coach of the nationally ranked and state champion Francis Howell North Knightline Dance Team.
