Rokita Dance Center was founded by the husband and wife team and co-owners John and Tammy Rokita who have over 50 years of combined experience in the dance industry. Rokita Dance Center is proud to welcome our Artistic Director, Nicole Whitesell. Nicole brings with her 25 years of experience and education in the dance industry.
Rokita Dance Center exists to provide students with a comprehensive artistic education that fosters excellence in all forms of dance in a manner that embraces a passion for the art form. Rokita Dance Center strongly believes in making dance accessible to everyone and strives to provide a moral foundation for building self-esteem and improving personal confidence. We instill in our dancers an enthusiasm and desire to have a positive influence within each of their communities.
Rokita Dance Center provides dance education to students ranging in age from three years to adult. Students can study many styles of dance at Rokita Dance Center such as Creative Dance, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, and Tumbling, along with Stretch, and Strength and Conditioning. Students can also enjoy a variety of performance opportunities including the end of the year Student Showcase, public performances, and by becoming a member of the Rokita Dance Center Competition Team.
Rokita Dance Center is located in a new,
up-to date facility with four spacious dance rooms. Each dance room is equipped with custom made sprung/raised dance floors, mirrors to the floor, stationary and portable ballet barres, and top of the line sound/dj system.

Whether a student studies dance as an extra-curricular activity or with a passion to pursue the art for life, there is a place for every dancer with us at Rokita Dance Center. Not only can dance provide a life-long career and network, dance is a great physical activity and promotes overall physical and mental health.
